Chirping birds and dinner parties

People have been telling me that Jake and I need to either invest in, or get married and register for fine dinnerware. It never dawned on me that the chiped and cracked palm tree plates and matching bowls were anything but fine dining until we bought our current home and I dream regurlaly about having torrents of people in my home eating the fine confections I have become famous for amoung our families!

I want a large china cabinet filled with beautiful dishes and glasses that are beautiful to look at and will probably be used only once a year!! I found the perfect pattern that suits me while perusing a Bridal Guide magazine the otherday...
